Social Value Policy
nGAGE Talent have worked with Social Value Portal to define our Social Value strategy. Our agreed focus, where we as a talent solutions group can make the most impact, is to target initiatives that will boost our own and our customers’ workforces by facilitating more employees entering work, returning to work, and overcoming barriers to obtaining employment. In so doing, we will promote
inclusivity and community development, which in-turn will boost economic growth. We will do so in a way that is mindful of minimising our impact on the environment.
OUR AIM IS TO FACILITATE A MORE RESILIENT AND DYNAMIC WORKFORCE, WHICH STRENGTHENS THE ECONOMY, AND TO EMPOWER THE LOCAL COMMUNITIES WITHIN WHICH WE AND OUR CUSTOMERS OPERATE.
POLICY AND SCOPE
This social value policy outlines how we will deliver this strategy across each of the brand businesses within the nGAGE Group family.

We commit to:
• Be accountable to our stakeholders and ensure we are taking responsibility for the role we are playing in their lives;

nGAGE Talent is dedicated to driving customer value and generating social and economic, while minimising our impact on the environment. We are committed to implementing strategies to benefit the lives and wellbeing of those affected by our activities within the localities and communities in which we operate.
We have identified the following areas where we will focus our efforts to maximise our impact:
Entering work
Objective:
To provide opportunities for individuals who are entering the job market, including school leavers, graduates, and those transitioning from other sectors.
Strategies:
• Education and Skills Development: Foster partnerships between educational institutions, employers, and government agencies to improve the understanding of what is required to successfully join the job market.
• Apprenticeships and Internships: Encourage group businesses and customers to offer structured apprenticeship and internship programs that provide hands-on experience and mentorship.
• Job Fairs and Career Counselling: Attend job fairs and provide career counselling sessions to connect job seekers with potential employers.
Returning to Work
Objective:
Support individuals who have taken a career break, whether for parental leave, caregiving responsibilities, or other personal reasons, in re-entering the workforce.
Strategies:
• Flexible Working Arrangements: Promote flexible work options, including part-time schedules, remote work, and job-sharing, to accommodate individuals returning to work.
• Training and Upskilling: Facilitate tailored training programs to help individuals update their skills and adapt to changes in their respective industries.
• Childcare and Elderly Care Support: Provide support to or flexible arrangements for employees with caregiving responsibilities.
• Mentorship and Networking Opportunities: Create mentorship programs and networking events to facilitate the reintegration of returning professionals.
Overcoming Barriers to Work
Objective:
Break down barriers that hinder certain groups, such as older employees, individuals with disabilities, exoffenders, and marginalised communities, from accessing employment opportunities.
Strategies:
• Accessibility and Inclusivity: Ensure that workplaces are accessible to individuals with disabilities and provide accommodations as needed.
• Inclusive Hiring Practices: Encourage businesses to adopt inclusive hiring practices, such as anonymous recruitment, to ensure a fair selection process.
• Support for Ex-Offenders: Collaborate with rehabilitation programs and employers to create pathways for exoffenders to re-enter the workforce.
• Diversity and Inclusion Training: Provide regular Diversity and Inclusion and recruitment bias training to create a more inclusive work environment.
Championing
We are committed to championing local employment and creating opportunities for smaller businesses, voluntary and third sector organisations.
We will:
• Promote accessible, entry-level opportunities for local SMEs.
• Support our existing SMEs that exist within our supply chain.
• Partner, develop relations, and work with third party jobs boards and companies who support us in looking to champion the incorporation of older workers into our workforce, those returning having spent time in prison and communities from BAME backgrounds.

The nGAGE Talent group is committed to fulfilling its share of the responsibility to keep the global temperature rise below 1.5C, as set out by the 2015 UN Paris Climate Agreement. To do this, we continue to look to mitigate our impact on the environment.
