Carbon Reduction Plan

Supplier Name: nGAGE Specialist Recruitment Limited

Publication Date: 10/11/2025

Commitment to Achieving Net-Zero

We, nGAGE Specialist Recruitment Limited (nGAGE), aim to achieve net-zero across Scope 1, 2, and 3 by 2045 from a 2024 base year.

To achieve net-zero we are aiming for an at least 90% reduction in absolute emissions compared to our base year – any residual emissions will be offset with carbon sequestration offsets, as per the Science-Based Targets Initiative’s Net-Zero Standard guidance.

We are committed to reducing our impact on the environment, as demonstrated by our ISO 14001 certification for UK operations. This certification reflects the business’s robust environmental management. We will continue to adhere to these high standards to minimise our environmental impact and ensure our processes are compliant with recognised best practices.

Our Scope 2 emission target will be reported using a market-based methodology.

We have not had our targets validated by the Science based Targets Initiative, though this is something that is being considered over the coming years.

Baseline Emissions Footprint

Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions.

Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

Emissions Reduction Targets

In order to continue our progress to achieving net zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets:

  • 58.8% reduction in absolute Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2034 from a FY2024 baseline (Market-based).
  • 58.8% reduction in absolute Scope 3 emissions by 2034 from a FY2024 baseline.
  • Net-zero (at least 90% absolute reduction) Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2045 from a FY2024 baseline (Market-based).
  • Net-zero (at least 90% absolute reduction) Scope 3 emissions by 2045 from a FY2024 baseline.

We project that our Scope 1 and 2 carbon emissions (Market-based) will decrease over the next five years to 271 tCO2e by 2030. This is a reduction of 41% compared to FY2025. We project that our Scope 3 carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 2,882 tCO2e by 2030. This is a reduction of 42% compared to FY2025.

Carbon Reduction Projects

Completed carbon reduction initiatives

The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the FY2024 baseline.

The carbon emission reduction achieved by these schemes is not known due to data limitations. We are aiming to improve our data quality in coming years so that we can make emissions savings estimates of the initiatives that we implement.

  • Green Travel Policy: We implemented a Green Travel Policy to influence employees’ behaviour around travel, encouraging car sharing and prioritising lower carbon forms of transport such as electric public transport. We also launched an Electric Vehicle salary sacrifice scheme for eligible U.K. employees, with encouraging take-up in the first year.
  • Office Policy: As tenants in managed or leased offices, we can only influence landlords, so the ability to reduce emissions directly is limited. However, we implemented a new Office Policy to move towards gas-free and renewable energy offices when office moves occur or new offices are leased. By switching to renewables, offices can lock in predictable energy costs and potentially enjoy long-term savings.
  • LED Lightning: We began implementing energy saving actions set out in our Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS) phase 3 action plan. These actions included the installation of LED lights in the Skipton Office, with the aim to complete a full transition to LED lighting over the following two years.
  • Net-Zero Strategy Development: We have worked with a third-party ESG specialists to develop a net-zero strategy. The strategy continues to evolve and expand as more data becomes available, providing a pathway to net-zero.
Future carbon reduction initiatives

In the future, we hope to implement further measures such as:
  • Increasing Data Accuracy: We’ll investigate the possibility of circuit-level meters to improve data accuracy and reduce energy consumption overall. This, partnered with educating employees on carbon literacy, will help drive more energy-efficient behaviour.
  • Educating staff: We plan to educate staff on carbon literacy and raise awareness of how their behaviour and decisions can help reduce our carbon emissions.
  • Hybrid Working: We will continue to provide a hybrid working model for employees to reduce the impact of employee travel and office work.
  • Engaging with Suppliers: We will be reaching out to top suppliers to begin collecting supplier-specific data for our purchased goods and services. This will continue to improve the accuracy of our emissions calculations as well as provide insight into our supplier’s sustainability strategies and credentials.
